Gardens & outdoor spaces
On the half-hectare property there are gardens with species characteristic of the Region, such as azaleas, camellias, hydrangeas, bougainvilleas and bird-of-paradise flowers. Around the house run areas of lawn and decking with comfortable outdoor furniture, a herb garden and a barbecue. In the existing orchards of traditional Azorean and tropical fruits, you can taste seasonal fruit throughout the year.
In the leisure areas there is no shortage of nooks for rest and contemplation, or a sports court (volleyball, beach tennis, badminton). The living hedges and traditional basalt walls protect the species and create true secret gardens, bordered by walkways built over old stone cairns (maroiços). A carport connected to the house shelters two cars, and a vast yard of traditional Azorean volcanic gravel (bagacina) provides additional parking space.
Comfort & tradition
The spacious living room incorporates the fully equipped kitchen, with a cosy social space in an eclectic décor that blends the traditional Azorean with the contemporary. Here you can soak up a wonderful atmosphere free of visual barriers, resulting in a state of bliss made of green (charming green), the blue of the sea and the glow of the fireplace, which distributes heat to every corner of the house.
There are three bedrooms with magnificent sea and mountain views and three bathrooms (1 en suite). Two queen beds and two single beds, a dressing room, and a laundry room. A house designed to meet the needs of the most discerning guests, it features central air conditioning, a fireplace, a smart TV, a hi-fi audio system, DVD, a variety of board games, a pool table and books, and a telescope. In the pantry there is a dishwasher and an espresso machine.
